25,000 Young Adults
Gather in Kansas City
Devotion to Jesus Christ
The vision for this project is to help young people go to the Onething conference in Kansas City, December 28-31st.
We have already seen a powerful impact in the lives of teens who have attended, with young people being awakened to a deep level of passion for Jesus Christ.
Our desire is that everyone who wants to go and needs to go, would be able to go.
AHOP will facilitate a group trip to the Onething conference. We will coordinate travel, food and lodging, and provide supervision for the young adults.
Small Group Leaders will chaperone 4-6 teens of the same gender to ensure that groups stay together, behave, and get fed.
Teens who want to attend will try to raise their own money by asking family and friends to donate. AHOP will also be holding fundraisers such as bake sales, car washes and dinners to help those who simply cannot afford the fee. All who apply for scholarships are volunteering to help with fundraising events.
Families are encouraged to attend the conference and take their own children. This is ideal. Children and teens who attend with their parents are not under the leadership of AHOP, nor will we coordinate their transportation, lodging and food. However, we do encourage families to join in the Onething Project fundraisers and travel alongside us, for the fun and fellowship of it!
Dating is not allowed during this trip. Parents are strongly encouraged to not send teens that are known to be in a relationship. Public displays of affection will not be tolerated, and teens of the opposite gender will not spend time alone.
Age Requirements: 13-22 years old
